This class is done 1 on 1 so I can give you my full attention to help build a solid foundation for you to begin with.

For the student with zero experience we will start at the very basics initially learning the tools and their uses in order to give you a solid foundation on how everything in the Blacksmith shop is used.

Once theory and a safety brief is done will we move onto working at the anvil and begin learning the fundamental skills such as forging, tapering, bending and twisting. in this lesson we will forge a basic fire poker and a hook to hang it from.

If 1 lesson is not enough to extinguish the flame in you, you are more than welcome to have follow on lessons where you can begin to create a project that takes several lessons to finish or continue to make several small items instead.

all you need to bring is natural fiber long sleeved shirt, natural fiber long pants, leather boots, eye/ear protection and gloves.

I am central to some shopping centres so if you like fast food, sushi or subway. It is a short 2 min drive from my workshop.

Hours - 0800-1600. 30 min to 60 min lunch break at 1230
